La Figlia del Presidente and The New Neapolitan’s Pizza

The city of Naples, home of the father of the chef Alessandro Borghese, is the star of the eighth episode of the second season aired exclusively on Sky One HD. Chef Alessandro will go to discover the real pizza was invented here. On the one side those who want to remain anchored to tradition, while other part who is not afraid to revisit it. In this case, four pizzerias will compete for the title of “New Pizza in Naples”. Striking a doughs and ovens will face off: Pizza Gourmet, La Figlia del Presidente, Fresco and Concettina ai tre santi. In each episode chef Alessandro Borghese compares four restaurant owners in the same geographical area as many of the fundamental aspects for a restaurant: the location, the service, the bill and finally the menu. The restaurateurs invite in their local respective “opponents” and colleagues who, accompanied by the same Alessandro, first shall inspect it from top to bottom every corner of the restaurant and examine carefully the kitchen and the staff who work there. Afterwards, start the dinner itself, during which there will be criticism and sniping comments. In the end everyone will assign its vote on four fundamental aspects of the venue, but the last word belongs only and exclusively to Chef Borghese: his opinion is crucial to elect the best restaurateur of the episode.
